Safe Cats, Safe Wildlife in Libraries this May

During the month of May, our libraries are taking part in Safe Cats, Safe Wildlife, a community education initiative delivered in partnership with Zoos Victoria, Public Libraries Victoria and the RSPCA.

The program encourages safer, healthier lives for cats while helping to care for local wildlife.

What’s happening in our libraries?

Throughout May visitors can expect a range of cat‑ and wildlife‑themed activities, including across different branches:

  • Cat‑themed storytimes during the week commencing 11 May
  • Special programs, including a visit from the Cat Protection Society & a Cat craft for kids
  • Book displays highlighting cat care, enrichment and wildlife‑related titles
  • Colouring sheets and activities for kids
