Work Experience / Community Service / Professional Placement
Whitehorse Manningham Libraries provides a range of opportunities for students looking to contribute to their community and gain some valuable work experience. Places are extremely limited and priority is given to students living and studying in either the City of Manningham or City of Whitehorse. Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions and regulations there will be very limited places available throughout 2021.
There are a limited number of work experience placements available throughout the year. Whitehorse Manningham Libraries will not be accepting any students for work experience for the first two school terms of 2021. Applications for term 3 and 4 placements will open in June 2021.
There are a limited number of community service placements available. All placements must be affiliated with an educational institution or a recognised charity program. Whitehorse Manningham Libraries will not be accepting any community service students for the first two school terms of 2021.
Industry placements are available to students studying at University or TAFE. Preference is given to students who are completing library studies. Please note that Whitehorse Manningham Libraries will not be accepting any placements before the end of June 2021.
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)
