Volunteering

 

Volunteer Story Circle Facilitator

Whitehorse Manningham Libraries have volunteers to assist in the delivery of an outreach program, involving telling stories to adults. This interactive program runs in collaboration with aged care facilities in the cities of Whitehorse and Manningham.

Volunteer Home Library Service

To assist with the provision of library services to people who are unable to visit the library due to age, illness or disability.

Volunteer opportunities are available to deliver in the areas of Mitcham, Forest Hill, Vermont South and Templestowe. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm only.

Volunteer English Language Instructors

To assist members of our community to improve their English language skills in a relaxed environment.

Volunteers are required to assist in the instruction of English conversation skills in a group environment or on an individual basis

Volunteer Friends of the library

To engage in library fund raising activities including book sales, and planned events as determined through discussion with the Library.
