The Home Library Service offers a free service to individuals in Whitehorse and Manningham who are confined to their homes or face challenges in accessing the library.

Barriers to library visits may arise from chronic illness, disability, caregiving responsibilities, or age-related restrictions.

Our Home Library Service can provide:

  • Regular visits to private homes, retirement villages, assisted living, and aged care facilities across the Whitehorse and Manningham area
  • A personalised selection of books, music, movies, and more delivered and collected by library staff and volunteers
  • Support to use the e-library online resources: E-books, E-magazines, Audio books, movies, and more.
